Narrative and Performance In my opinion this video is around 30% narrative and 70% performance. This narrative is shown by the boys wanting to get with the girls, which is what ends up happening in final shots. the video is predominantly performance based as they are constantly performing on a small stage on the beach. This is also emphasized by the fact that they are performing in front of a crowd, something which is common in pop music videos. Locations This video in particular conations a variety of different locations, however they are all in close proximity to each other. These include the shot of the girls further down the beach, the lead singer on a separate section of the beach, small stage where the band are performing, football area, seating/bench area, swimming pool, Demi Lovato on the beach, Demi on the car, plus a few other minor locations.
