Brief Synopsis
My music video will include the representations of a young male having a strong relationship with an older female, therefore completing the brief by representing two different social groups. The young male in the video will be played by the artist, who will be involved in both the narrative and performance. The video will begin indoors with the main character (young artist) preparing to go outside, where he will begin an activity. The second character will then join in, and I will have shots of them together showing their friendship, which contradicts the normal representation. During the first chorus I will include performance shots from both a studio and on location, mixed in with the narrative of friendship being told. At the beginning of the second verse, both characters will move indoors to my second location, where there will be more intimate shots featuring both characters. Again, building up to the chorus, I will have medium shots of the performance, which will include lip syncing. This will go along side the narrative and continue throughout the chorus. At the beginning of the second chorus ( the happiest point in the video), characters will be seen laughing and smiling. It will then have a shift in time to the evening, and feature evening activities e.g. drinks/meal. During the bridge of the song the mood will drop slightly compared to the choruses, and with feature a mixture of both the indoor and outdoor locations, plus it will have flashbacks of the memories of their friendship. The end of the video will also show performance shots and narrative strands from previous locations.
